New to yoga, need a refresh or just looking to fine tune your skills with the support of a Senior Teacher?
A series of classes held over FIVE weeks, specifically structured towards learning the elements of hatha vinyasa yoga, a union of breath and movement. Flowing sequences are accessible for EVERY body to develop awareness, build strength, and create clarity.
Using physical and verbal alignment queues, students will learn:
Pranayama (breath work)
Surya Namaskara (known as Sun Salutations)
Foundation Standing Postures
Bandhas - Establish Core Awareness
Seated Postures & Twists
Backbends & Inversions.
Each of these elements are sequenced together to culminate in a flowing vinyasa: a moving meditation.
Our Intro to Yoga Series will inspire and nurture absolute beginners or refine and deepen basic skills and alignment for students with an existing practice or returning after a break. Experienced instructors encourage the use of props to make the postures accessible to ALL bodies.
