YOGA TRAINING + MENTORING FOR TEACHERS + STUDENTS
Bloom Yoga offers a truly unique approach to our yoga teacher training and mentoring programs in that we emphasise small group learning where we explore the philosophy and teachings of yoga, from a nurturing perspective, aligning ancient wisdom to the seasons of our modern lives over time.

The practices and philosophies which we practice are informed by modern science and movement, with an emphasis on empowering every body, regardless of age, gender or ability.

MENTORING PROGRAM FOR YOGA TEACHERS
Graduating from your first teacher training program can be both exceptionally rewarding and overwhelming.
There is so much to learn and to absorb when learning yoga; both new and experienced teachers can benefit from the support and guidance from Senior Teachers and their peers in a more practical way.
Working with a mentor is an opportunity for teachers to develop confidence, fine tune their sequencing + planning skills, while finding their own unique style and perhaps even carve out a niche within their yoga community. Runs over 6 months with places for 8 yoga teachers.
Begins April 2024

200 HOUR YOGA TEACHER TRAINING + EDUCATION
The only 200 Hour training in Perth that takes place over 12 months facilitated by a Senior Yoga Teacher.
As longtime practitioners we honour the value in learning over time; integrating the wisdom of yoga, and undertaking the necessary study while making the course accessible for students with family and work commitments.
Whether or not you decide to teach, this weekday yoga teacher training will equip you with skills to deepen your awareness from the inside out, learn daily rituals for self-discipline, fuel your passion and find effective ways to communicate in a group setting.
A limited intake of just 8 trainees.

PRENATAL MENTORING FOR PREGNANCY + POSTPARTUM
To truly become specialists in yoga for pregnancy and postpartum, prenatal yoga teachers must move beyond asana; this program provides a pathway to deepen your skills, further your perinatal education and guide you towards becoming a specialised in the niche offering of perinatal yoga.
Our small group mentoring program for Prenatal Yoga Teachers offers up-to-date research and competencies so that you not only support your students but stand out as a prenatal specialist. Runs over 6 months with places for just 8 prenatal teachers.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR YOGA TEACHERS
Bloom Yoga's online prenatal and postnatal yoga classes have been designed to be safely practiced in the comfort of your home; short practices support your body, mind and baby helping you to navigate the journey of motherhood on your terms.
Perinatal Specialist, Senior Yoga Teacher and mother of two, Sara, has devoted the last 15 years to sharing the benefits of yoga for pregnancy, birth and postpartum during this transformational time for women and their families.

THE ART OF ASSISTS: LANGUAGE, PROPS + TOUCH
Skilled yoga teachers employ a variety of tools in order to guide students in their own experience of yoga.

This includes, but is not limited to our own presence, attentiveness and energy as well as our verbal and visual cues, to our use of metaphor and storytelling; offering this in a trauma-aware context to embody a 'hands-off' approach to assisting students in your yoga classes.

With an understanding of 'hands-off' assists we can then move towards "hands-on" assists using touch to guide students towards their unique expression of asana.

SEQUENCING
WITH PURPOSE
A self-paced workshop for mother and birth partner to explore hands on practical yoga postures helpful for different stages of physiological birth such as standing, squatting, lunging, all fours and resting postures, as well as utilising yogic breathing and mindfulness skills especially for labour and birth.

Learn practical 'tools' for working with pain in labour including touch, movement and massage as birth preparation while also understanding how your brain, body and hormones are designed to support a labouring woman's body and mind.

THE ART OF REST: RESTORATIVE + YOGA NIDRA
With so much focus on the baby after birth, mum + baby yoga classes provide a much-needed space for mums to breathe, move, strengthen & re-connect in the comfort of home.
Classes combine therapeutic postnatal yoga asana to establish core and pelvic floor awareness, with or without baby!

The Art of Yoga Assists
20 Hours

Lunar Sadhana: Yoga for the Feminine
20 Hours
Experience yoga through the lens of the feminine. Embody a practice that connects with our intuitive and cyclical nature.
More than 78% of yoga practitioners are females, and so it makes sense for us as women to explore ways in which we can use yoga to support us as we move through the seasons of our lives.

Discover Goddess Mythology, Yoga Practices for Moving with the Moon as well as understanding how to adapt asana for female anatomy, changing hormones and seasons of the feminine lifecycle.

Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training
30 Hours
Yoga for pregnancy is more than just modifying asana! We offer a passionate, heart-centred and intuitive approach, empowering women to tap into the wisdom of their body through yoga.

Learn from prenatal specialists with more than 14 years experience as practitioners, mothers and teachers. Discover how to utilise asana throughout pregnancy, mindfulness practices to ease anxiety and prepare for birth as well as therapeutic postures and practices to relieve aches and pains. Most importantly building a connected community through pregnancy yoga, where women support one another.

When I first decided to embark on a teacher training course, I was considering an intensive course to quickly gain a teaching certificate. I’m so happy I chose the weekday option at Bloom which has made me realise that yoga is about discovery and growth. The program carefully combines both theory and practice and I’ve learnt so much from the business of yoga to the benefits of pranayama, Ayurvedic lifestyle and putting together my own vinyasa sequence. The course has given me confidence to grow in my practice at a steady space with amazing support from Sara who nurtures and supports her students throughout the journey.
