Bloom Yoga was born out of a passion for pregnancy yoga.
The practice of mindful breathing, movement and relaxation
are of immense benefit for both mother and baby; these skills are not only helpful during pregnancy, they also filter into labour and birth, while helping to ease the transition into life as a new mother.
Throughout our 7 years of sharing this transformational practice, we have expanded our offerings to include Yoga for Active Birth and Yoga for Mum + Baby
Yoga for Active Birth intends to educate and empower parents and partners
on how to plan and prepare for the process of labour using yoga:
breath and visualisation, mindfulness, movement and postures.
Mum + Baby Yoga provides a pathway for returning to a yoga practice following the birth of your baby. A gentle style of practice to connect with your new body and your new baby in a safe and supported space.
