Gentle Yin Yoga teaches us how to open our body so that we can learn to sit in meditation at the end of class, beginners welcome.

Yin is a restorative style of yoga with many therapeutic benefits; assisting insomnia, infertility, digestion improving mobility, flexibility and posture.

 

It's also a perfect way to de-stress from our modern lifestyle and an ideal way to prepare both mind and body for meditation.

Practiced in a dimly lit, warmed room - we'll use a variety of floor based yoga postures to open the hips, spine, neck + shoulders which will provide the space and ease to sit in meditation.

Each week will have a specific focus with some guided meditation, over the course of the series, students will work towards sitting in silence using techniques learned in class.

Taught by an experienced practitioner and yoga teacher, you'll learn techniques to take your meditation + mindfulness practices off the mat and into everyday life.  

All equipment is provided and no prior yoga or meditation experience is required.
