Living in Flow: Yoga Teacher Training Especially for Women

I’m sure if you’ve been practising yoga for a little while, you’d agree that one of its aims is to bring awareness to our unconscious habits—both physical and emotional—and make the invisible visible.

Yoga inspires us to be responsive, alive, and awake to the constantly fluctuating immediacy of our individual reality. And when we wake up to what’s real, we see it doesn’t live by a schedule; we are in a constant state of ebb and flow.

As a female yoga practitioner for almost 30 years, it has been a radical awakening to align my asana practice with my menstrual cycle over the last 10 years. This approach, which is at the heart of our women’s yoga teacher training in Perth, has allowed me to connect deeply with my body. It gives me permission to push harder during bursts of energy while also honouring times when I want to rest and recharge.

Rather than forcing or pushing through, I feel as though I am truly living in my natural flow.

In many ways, this was an unlearning—undoing much of what I had learned in my foundational 350 hour yoga teacher training. It was as though an intuitive knowing emerged when I stopped trying to fit myself into a particular style, method, or rigid schedule. Now, that’s not to say I don’t love structure—because I do. It’s just that this structure is unique to me, with softer edges that allow me to feel and move in alignment with my own rhythm.

What’s even more fascinating is that when I surrendered into this rhythmic flow from the inside out, my asana practice transformed—becoming less rigid, more fluid, and more reflective of the natural cycles of being a woman.

We offer a 200 hour women’s yoga teacher training in Perth - The Feminine in Flow as well as a Lunar Sadhana module, both courses have been designed to explore this deeply embodied, life-aligned approach to yoga. We also offer prenatal and postnatal yoga teacher training, helping women understand their changing bodies during pregnancy and postpartum while learning to hold space for other women. These courses integrate female-specific anatomy, life cycles, and align yoga philosophy from a uniquely feminine perspective, allowing you to teach with confidence, sensitivity, and empowerment.

For women looking to embrace yoga that is truly aligned with their lives, our training provides the guidance, tools, and support to honour your body, your cycles, and yourself. Yoga for women isn’t just about asana—it’s a journey of transformation, self-awareness, and living in flow.
