Bloom Yoga Policies

As an established business, we have established policies and procedures to better serve our community.  Our policies include our terms and conditions which serve to provide an agreement between Bloom Yoga and our valued clients and students.  These are specific guidelines, and conditions that must be adhered to or accepted when purchasing a service or product whether online or in-person.

Participants and students practice and participate in our classes, courses, series, and workshops voluntarily with the knowledge that classes involve but are not limited to vigorous stretching and strengthening postures to which you may not be accustomed;

some of our classes may be MORE physically strenuous than others; it is the students' responsibility to advise the teacher if they are new or returning to practice after an extended break;

It's your responsibility as a participant to advise BLOOM YOGA and any of its instructors or teachers of any medical condition, injury, or change in your overall health that may affect the safety and wellbeing of your practice; where you are unable to continue yoga for medical reasons, please advise us at the time of your injury in writing and we will place classes passes on hold or credit your studio account for unused classes with a 3 month expiry. A medical certificate is required.  Please note we cannot backdate the credit.  

Cancellation + Refund Policies

Please note that all purchases are final and refunds or expiry extensions are not offered for change of mind, work commitments, holidays, injury, illness, or change of address.  

This CASUAL CLASS PASS is valid for six months from the date of purchase, regardless of public holidays or any other studio closure in that period. Unused passes become invalid after their expiry date. All purchases are final and refunds are not offered for change of mind, injury, illness, or change of address. All classes have a three-hour cancellation window. Bookings cancelled outside of the cancelation window are credited to your account to reuse. Bookings cancelled within the three hour cancellation window are considered late cancellations and are forfeited. Bloom Yoga is not liable to refund, transfer or offer compensation of any kind for classes you are unable to attend for any reason or because it is full (or the teacher considers that it is full). The teacher of each scheduled class is subject to change at any time. The cancellation window and expiry dates apply regardless of teacher changes. Passes are valid only for regular weekly classes, and cannot be used for attendance at workshops, courses, or events. They are not redeemable for cash. Passes are non-transferable, however may be shared with your spouse and child. In order to share you must visit your profile in the booking system and add your family members. Bloom Yoga reserves the right to revoke access to the studio at any time as a result of any behaviour that we deem inappropriate. Inappropriate behaviour includes but is not limited to repeated late cancellations/no-shows, harassment of staff or other students, damage or theft of studio property, and discriminatory or derogatory behaviour.

TEN CLASS PASSES are valid for TWELVE weeks from the date of purchase, regardless of public holidays or any other studio closure in that period. Any unused passes may be transferred to a NEW 10-class pass when purchased within one week of expiry. Passes are valid only for regular weekly classes, and cannot be used for attendance at workshops, courses, or events. They are not redeemable for cash. All classes have a three-hour cancellation window. Bookings cancelled outside of the cancelation window are credited to your account to reuse. Bookings cancelled within the three hour cancellation window are considered late cancellations and are forfeited. TWENTY CLASS PASSES are valid for SIX MONTHS from the date of purchase, regardless of public holidays or any other studio closure in that period. Passes may be shared between TWO PEOPLE in a single household. Any unused passes may be transferred to a NEW 20-class pass when purchased within one week of expiry. Passes are valid only for regular weekly classes, and cannot be used for attendance at workshops, courses, or events. They are not redeemable for cash. All classes have a three-hour cancellation window. Bookings cancelled outside of the cancelation window are credited to your account to reuse. Bookings cancelled within the three hour cancellation window are considered late cancellations and are forfeited. COURSES, SERIES, DAY RETREATS, WORKSHOPS Payment must be received in FULL for courses, series, and workshops to secure a place; Cancellations for courses, series & workshops must be made in writing (via email) at least 14 days prior to the start date for a FULL refund; within 7 days to receive a refund minus 25%; no refunds 72 hours prior to start date. There is no refund or credit once a course/class/series/workshop has commenced unless a medical certificate is provided. Missed classes during a series or course are forfeited; these cannot be carried over or made up. When purchasing or enrolling in a course or series for a friend, each enrolment must be done separately otherwise we cannot guarantee each person’s place in the course.

GIFT VOUCHERS Gift Vouchers valid 36 months from the date of purchase unless expiry date is noted on the voucher. Proof of purchase is required to redeem Gift Certificate.

TEACHER TRAINING COURSES

YOGA RETREATS A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place. Full payment is due no later than 30 days prior to retreat date, failure to finalise payment will forfeit your place. Due to the nature of retreat planning, no refunds are provided 30 days prior to the retreat date, however you may transfer your place to a friend or family member.

Teacher Training, Mentoring + Professional Development for Yoga Teachers: Lunar Sadhana Anatomy + Physiology The Art of Rest The Art of Assists The Art of Sequencing 30 hour Prenatal Teacher Training 30 hour Postnatal Teacher Training Payment must be received in FULL for training, mentoring and professional development courses to secure a place; Any cancellations must be made in writing (via email) at least 30 days prior to the start date for a FULL transfer of funds or refund. Cancellations made 14 days prior to the start date recieve a 50% refund, no refunds 72 hours prior to start date. There is no refund or credit once training or mentoring has commenced, except in the case of circumstances relating to a personal or medical event, of which evidence is required.

200 HR + 350 HR YOGA TEACHER TRAINING Course Cancellations Policy The training provider reserves the right to cancel any course, to postpone it to an alternative date, or to offer the training online in the event in-person is not available. In this event, all registered students affected by such postponement or cancellation will be offered the opportunity to transfer to the next available training course. If the student is unable to attend the next available training course an alternative online learning option will be provided in its place. Refund Policy Students must inform the training provider in writing, no less than 30 working days prior to the first workshop date to be eligible for a refund, minus the administration fee. Students will receive their refund within 30 working days of the request. Refunds will be refunded by credit card or debit card if that was the way the course was paid for. If the course is paid for by cash or electronic funds transfer (EFT), the refund will be paid by EFT. No refunds are given once the course has commenced. Installments Payment via installments is offered to make the course financially viable. Students must pay their FULL tuition over a maximum 12-month payment plan/contract paid via EFT, trainees who choose to opt-out, defer or withdraw from any training are still financially liable to pay any remaining balance of owing. Where a payment has been declined by your bank a $10 late payment fee will be incurred. A $900 AUD non-refundable/transferable deposit and administration fee is payable upon your application being approved. The deposit is deducted from the total cost of the course. This is non-refundable but is transferable up to 12 months from the start of the course.

COVID-19 Policy

In the event that Government regulations stipulate that Bloom Yoga must close our physical doors - all participants registered in a series, class, workshop, or training will be available as a LIVESTREAM recording and available for playback for 6 days following to those who cannot join us live. Where restrictions require mask-wearing we ask that you please adhere to these policies. Should you test positive for COVID 19 we ask that you please stay at home - a live class recording will be provided for you to access for 7 days. It is our firm belief that yoga during this time can help to alleviate some of the stress and uncertainty while also providing community connection. We recognise that home practice is not ideal for everyone, however, we have gone to great lengths to ensure a professional technical set-up for students to join us at home when in the event of unforeseen closures due to COVID-19 isolation, lockdown, and impromptu studio closures. Your understanding and willingness to adapt to change during these challenging times is much appreciated and ensures the longevity of our business. Where you have tested positive for COVID-19, please cancel or reschedule your class, alternatively choose a livestream option. Where your cancellation falls under a late cancellation, a class recording will be provided.

Privacy Policy

BLOOM YOGA will never sell, share or distribute students personal information or circumstances. We will not send you unsolicited emails unless you have opted in to our mailing list; you may choose to opt out of our mailing list at any time.
